Deepest Sympathy

As you may know, Carmelite Sister of the Word, Karen Elizabeth Duddy, finished her earthly journey on Sunday, July 31.  Our parish family would like to extend our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to her family, to Sister Linda and all the CCW sisters.  With deepest gratitude for the countless blessings she brought, over many years, to our various schools, parishes and communities throughout our diocese, let us pray for Sister Karen, may our good and gracious God, the Giver of all life, grant her eternal peace in His kingdom and her family and religious community comfort and strength as they mourn her passing.

Vacation Bible School is in full swing!

For everything, Dad, we thank you…

Always coming through,

Teaching us every day,

Helping us on our way,

Encouraging us in all we do,

Remaining strong, steady, and true!

To all fathers, grandfathers, Godfathers and father figures who provide love, protection, courage, good example and many other important things to us. We pray that our good and gracious God continue to bless them with all they need to fulfill their fatherly role to the best of their abilities. Our faith community would like to extend an invitation to all fathers and father figures in our parish to receive a small token of our appreciation for Father’s Day.

If you were not able to attend mass this weekend, please stop by the parish office this week for your pen.

Summer Mass Attendance: There is a website where you can find a catholic church if you happen to be traveling. Please use it so you don’t miss Sunday celebration of the Eucharist.

As of May 31, 2022, our Parish has exceeded the Diocesan Goal of $19,337.00 for the Catholic  Ministries Drive. Thanks to your generosity, we have raised $21,920.58 thus far. The drive continues until the end of the year, so if you haven’t yet contributed and the spirit moves you, it’s not too late. Anything we raise from here on out will come back to our parish to be used for our much needed
repair projects. Thank you again for supporting Saint Joseph Parish.

Thank you from Father Jozef

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your cards, prayers,
wishes and gifts I received from you as I celebrated the
24th anniversary of my priestly ordination on May 30. Your support,
friendship and most importantly your lives and prayers are
such a powerful inspiration and source of strength and energy for
my priestly ministry. I am blessed and honored to be your parish
priest for almost three years now. I thank God for giving me such a
loving and thoughtful faith community here at Saint Joseph’s. As
we journey together into the Kingdom of God, let us continue to let
the Holy Spirit guide us on our mission of proclaiming the Good
News of our Savior Jesus Christ. Father Jozef
