Christmas Eve – Masses will be on December 24, at 4:00 p.m. and at 9:00 p.m.

Christmas Day – 10:30 a.m.

Since we normally have a large attendance on Christmas Eve and Christmas day Mass, we ask that you please give the Church Office a call to allow us to know the Mass you plan to attend and the number of people in your family. We want to make certain that we can have people present in the church safely.

It is our hope to open the Parish Social Hall for our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses which will provide an audible Mass coming from the Church and we will also bring Holy Communion to those sitting in the Social Hall.

HOLY COMMUNION OUTSIDE – Sr. Linda will bring Holy Communion outside to anyone who does not feel comfortable in gathering.  The Communion times will be:

Christmas Eve:  5:00 p.m.

Christmas Eve:  10:00 p.m.

Christmas Day: 11:30 a.m.

RITE OF ACCEPTANCE INTO THE CATECHUMENATE – Next Sunday, November 29, at the 9:00 a.m. Mass we will have the Rite of Acceptance into the Catechumenate for 4 individuals who would like to be received into the Church at the Easter Vigil this year.  We offer our prayerful support to Tiffany Keith, Aria Keith, Phyllis Schultz, and Linda Parsons.

FAMILIES NEEDED FOR ADVENT WREATH – CANDLE LIGHTING!

In one week we will begin the new church year and our four week period of preparation for the joyous celebration of Christmas.  I am asking our parish families to participate in the Advent Wreath Candle-Lighting at the start of each of our weekend Masses.  A sign-up list for this can be found in the vestibule.  Please sign up today!

THANKSGIVING MASS – St. Joseph Parish will have their Thanksgiving Mass on Wednesday, the eve of Thanksgiving,  November 25, at 6:00 p.m. We are collected food items at this Mass for the Town Christmas giveaway.  Boxes will be provided for your donations.

IMPORTANT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS –Last Sunday with our Grade School students and This Sunday with our High School Students we are sending home their lessons to do at home in the event that Schools return to Virtual Learning. As long as the schools are in session, we will be in session. When they close, we will also ask our Religious Education students to do their lessons at home and write a paragraph or so on the lessons completed.

2nd Grade students will still make their First confession on December 5, at 10:00 a.m. Since we only have four students, we should be able to do this well with Social distancing and the wearing of the Mask.  Father Jozef will do Confessions in the chapel to allow an open room and social distancing.

PENANCE & PIZZA: Confessions for Jr. High & High School Students will be held on Dec. 6, starting at 5:00 p.m. Following confessions, students will convene downstairs for pizza and religious instruction. Classes will be dismissed at 7:30 p.m.
